We saw them last night...

or should i say we tried seeing them... but their fingers moved so fast sometimes they literally went invisible!!

The Five Browns gave me the chills, and sometimes my heart started burning overwhelmed with how much beauty and talent God has given us, not just them...Although I must say I do regret not practicing the piano more when i was little.

wishin i was charitable enough to think of brilliant things like this. There are incredible people in the world out there and i'm feeling inspired.

SPF's

we ate a Gurus last night because i have been cravvvvving sweet potato fries and heard they are in that business. I was completely satisfied with them, but I think I may like rhumbi's SPF's, as devin named them, better. I could probably eat these little buggers every day. maybe in heaven..... ps isn't it fitting that i am posting this on fast sunday? ha

summer plans

Off we go! Devin and I are off to San Fran this summer for some fun, some work, and some dance. If you know anyone with a place in San Francisco feel free to pass their name along to me! We're needing a place

right now

I feel like this. If you think this means happy, stressed, anxious, nervous you're right. There is a lot going on with school and sometimes it leaves my eyes a little cross eyed by the end of the day, literally. but i am brought to remember that He will "strengthen me, bless me, and cause me to stand. upheld by His constant omnipotent hand." my grandmothers favorite hymn.

tomorrow devin begins his last semester at byu and i begin yet another semester at byu(they are never-ending) and tomorrow we also leave to cancun!!! besides basking in the sun, enjoying not scraping off a windshield in 4 degree weather, eating good food, and making the great memories with my best friend- i intend to learn swedish, read Leadership and Self-Deception, and buy some mexican vanilla, flip flops and a plate for my collection. mostly just take it easy.see ya saturday!

a little thing we like to call TM

we had a TM, or tender mercy, this month as we, or should i say i, lost our camera. of course, we found it our i would not be writing about my tender mercy. Here are some of our happenings while our camera was out:


first, some parties with lovable friends.


next, we got our first REAL Christmas tree. Its the short doctor suessish looking one. it passed away only two weeks of being with us and with a week left til christmas we decided to get another one for ten bucks.
(Somewhere in now and then we finished finals with a bang! we are loving the break.)
Then we went up to the Mo-Tab Christmas concert where we lost the camera. The tender mercy comes into play here when we received a phone call saying that our camera was found- two weeks after we lost it!

so no more pictures of our december. it was simply mahvelous though. devin completely shocked me with a hotel in park city for the weekend of our anniversary where we went swimming in the snow for the first time,(they had an indoor/outdoor pool, we waited til it was snowing to go.) walked main st. and got some Christmas presents. thanks dev.

our Chistmas this year was the best yet. simple and perfect, thanks to parents and loved ones. I cant believe its over.

365 days...... almost

as of tomorrow devin and i will have been married one year. its been incredible.
some of my highlights:

staying up late and talking til the wee hours of the morning
learning tennis, for me, this past summer
dancing together
painting our apartment
traveling together, its one of my favorite things
planning our life and future
living away in boston
cookin dinner for devin
playing card games late at night
devin washing dishes after i cook
selling our other car and planning our schedules to drive together
sweet priesthood blessings from the best guy
still getting my car door opened everytime we go somewhere

he has the night planned tonight. something simple, cuz on january 6 we leave for cancun and the celbration continues. thanks babe for the greatest 365 days yet.

A little rough housing

devin devided to boost me onto a freshly fluffed love sac, an experience of a lifetime, and camera whiz meg caught the moment. gotta love times like these.
