we are family

i'm in love with the olden days and again more old school pictures.
recently i found this gem at my moms and almost started crying. my mommer( bev's mom) died very shortly after this picture was taken. i only knew her for a year. how dear are the relationships we make. "The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave." i've been staying with my parentals, thus i cant help but admire all they do. and how rewarding the eternal bonds of family are. my mom is going all family history crazy lately till the weee hours of the morn. as i've stayed up and learned some with her i have this indefinite sense of debt to those who have gone before. "Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally."
my brother jake comes home this weekend. my siblings are some of my greatest examples.
next weekend my family is going to EDEN(crazy eh) utah for a family reunion.

"Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ."
